Comic Express: A Method for Expressing Ideas in Comic Form

Formats such as the single cartoon, panel strip, comic book, graphic novel, and illustrated book have been widely used in our culture to communicate and express ideas in dramatic ways. Comic products are usually characterized by powerful graphic images which reveal skill in drawing and illustration. Students who attempt to create comic forms, however, are sometimes disappointed when their results lack the illustrative power associated with this format.
